Lokesh said, ‘I was interested in studying in Scotland as it such a beautiful place. I came across quite a few colleges but Clydebank College stuck out because of its great new building and facilities.

I think starting anything new is difficult but Clydebank College guided me to speak to one of their agents in New Delhi which made the process a lot easier. The whole process really put me at ease which I really appreciated. Moving to another country is a daunting and exciting experience but this process really put me at ease. I think this is a great way to liaise with international students who apply to come to college.

On arriving in Scotland it did take me a while but I have found a lovely Scottish family to stay with and they have provided me with free accommodation and made me feel like a family member! On my college holidays we also go to see the local areas which has been fantastic!

I decided to study HND Business and I am in my first year. I think this is a great course as it covers a lot of different topics and after completion I can choose between various courses to study at university as it covers such broad areas such as HR, Business Law, Management, Communication and Economics etc.

The course has gone at a steady pace and there has been no rush meaning I can absorb everything. All the topics we study are assessed afterwards before the final examination, so we are constantly been tested on our work which keeps it all fresh in the mind. Also the teaching style is excellent as its not all textbook based. We read the newspapers, watch educational programmes, read up on business case studies so you get a well rounded view of the unit your are studying.

I would definitely recommend the college. The facilities at the college are excellent and the lecturers are a great support coupled with its great location and transport links it’s a fantastic place to study.

I’m looking forward to graduating and continuing my study at university. I’m not sure what will happen after University but I want to be very successful and I’ll always think of my time at Clydebank with fond memories.
