Town centres receive £20 million boost

Struggling town centres in Scotland are to receive a cash boost of £20 million for regeneration projects supporting 320 jobs.

Communities minister Alex Neil has announced 41 high streets will benefit from the Town Centre Regeneration Fund.

Towns in every local authority in Scotland have now benefited from the £60 million fund in a bid to create better town centre retail, business, community and leisure facilities.
